Today is especially a day when the world thinks of New York City. Its resilience and tenacity are reason enough to celebrate its strength and unity. What the country and all New Yorkers experienced and demonstrated will always be on our minds on September 11th. Twenty years ago, New York City became a place surging with unity and resurgence as our country came together despite the attempts against us.

In the spirit of remembering the robust and empowering energy of the city, there are a great variety of experiences to give you a feel of its diverse and strong culture. If it’s sightseeing, enjoying a walk through Central Park or enjoying the delish food of the Big Apple, there is something for everyone.

Located in lower Manhattan is Little Italy. Here you can find a wide variety of Italian restaurants and other authentic dishes! 

There are so many options in the big city. One is IL Bastardo. The upscale and chic weekend brunch spot features headlining DJs and an exciting daytime club experience. Their fun brunch and champagne parties are elegant and full of adult brunch action.

If you are looking to learn more about NYC’s strength and culture, visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It is on the lower west side of Manhattan and will give you an inside look at the event that brought our nation together. You can pay your respects to the many lives lost and experience the beauty of the community atmosphere.

New York offers a myriad of exhibits throughout the museums, including the Natural History Museum and The Met. 

Looking for amusement parks and a relaxing time at the beach? Catch the train to Brooklyn and visit Coney Island. This neighborhood offers a fun day for the entire family, with the famous Wonder Wheel, an aquarium, and of course, the beach!

If you want to experience a little of New York City’s nature, you can visit Central Park, Prospect Park or even take a trip to the New York Botanical Garden.
