Spend the Afternoon on Melrose Avenue

One of L.A.’s most famous streets runs north of Beverly Blvd and south of Santa Monica Blvd. It’s the perfect place to shop, eat, drink and play. The bustling street is filled with the latest trendy restaurants and stores that make it the perfect place to do a mini photoshoot or an Instagram reel. Melrose Avenue is known as a perfect blend between upscale, funky and posh. For first time L.A.’ers or natives looking for new spots to check out, here are our top five:

Wildstyle

Wildstyle describes itself as a high-end concept store that was established in 2012 by the owner and creative director of LA-based brand Joyrich. They sell clothing and shoes, anything from the Pleasures brand to Yeezy’s. Wildstyle also has online shopping available for those outside of LA or those who may be uncomfortable shopping in a store right now. Stop by or shop online to check out their latest brand partnerships and product drops.

DripLA

Are you a sneakerhead? If you’re looking for the dopest shoes on Melrose, stop by Drip LA and check out name-brand shoes, shirts and more. They sell footwear, apparel and accessories for men and women. Drip LA describes themselves as an elite boutique with roots in the sneaker culture going as far back as 1975. Located in the heart of West Hollywood, stop by their store or shop their products online.

Zinque

Zinque (pronounced zin-kae is a French bistro with several locations throughout Los Angeles and the state of CA. They consider themselves a low-key neighborhood restaurant with French-inspired dishes that are curated with wine and beer selections. Zinque’s tasty food includes menus for breakfast, brunch, dinner and drinks that can be perfectly paired together.

The Village Idiot

The Village Idiot is a gastropub serving all American food. Craving a juicy steak, hearty burger or a fresh salad? Stop into the pub and order any of these foods, plus pair it with a beer. For brunch, dinner and happy hour menus, this restaurant is the perfect spot for a date night, a night out with the girls or solo dinner.

LN2 Restaurant

LN2 is the newest restaurant creation by Chef Chris Robbins. He uses “his own whimsical take on what he calls ‘the modern gastro lounge.’” With a beautifully crafted menu and eye-catching decor, LN2 offers an “innovative and playful approach to comfort food” in the heart of West Hollywood. Haven’t checked it out yet? Stop by for outdoor patio dining or takeout and try their mouth-watering food.
